Kate Taylor established Kate Taylor Consulting in 2005. The firm builds long-term relationships with its nonprofits to advance their missions and build support over the long haul.
Current and Past Clients: Parsons Dance, HB Studio, Brooklyn Center for the Arts at Brooklyn College, PS21, Shen Wei Dance Arts, Pentacle, La Mama, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, J Mandle Performance, and RIOULT Dance NY, among others.

Previous staff positions include leading the development team at Merce Cunningham Dance Company and Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College, and institutional program officer at New York Foundation for the Arts.
Kate Taylor has served on grant panels for NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and Brooklyn Arts Council. She has led workshops on fundraising at New York Live Arts, the Queens Council for the Arts, and New York Foundation for the Arts and served as a SmART Bar consultant at the Dance/NYC annual symposium. Ms. Taylor performed for many years with the Nancy Meehan Dance Company. She holds a B.A. with concentrations in dance and philosophy from Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, NY.
